Once-upon-a-weekend, I had questions about my microwave popcorn experience. Questions like, "Which brand of popcorn pops the most? Which pops best?" I started looking online for answers. None were to be found, so the popcorn test/experiment was officially popped. I tried my best to be objective and scientific during this project, except for the taste rating, which is obviously subjective.

This web page is the fruit of those labors, and the answer to your questions. (As long as they happen to be the same as mine.)

Oh, and, because I know it will come up, I'm not now, nor have I ever been, employed by any popcorn company. I'm a fan of microwave popcorn and this is an independent study carried out by myself in a good faith effort to present unbiased accurate results.
